If the service provider you are verifying for is required to comply with KYC/AML/CDD regulations, Veriff may run additional checks such as PEP.
However, Veriff cannot and will not use your data for any purpose other than specified by the service provider you are verifying for. This means Veriff will never sell your data to a third party for adverting purposes, check your Facebook page, or allow your data to be seen for more than what is necessary for verifying your identity.
